Mark's enthusiasm, rigour, patience and sense of fun restored in my son a love of the guitar which he had lost at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. 4 years on, H still says every week how much he enjoys his lessons. Mark makes sure H understands the purpose of technical precision and focused practice as building blocks to improvisation and a more musical performance. If there is anything tricky to master, Mark encouragingly breaks it down into achievable steps, so H feels a real sense of progress and we see it too!
